Today we are in prayer. Jackson's counts came back today with 1% blasts. The blasts should all be gone due to chemo. The doctor on call says it could be a leukemia blast (bad) or it could be recovery blast (good). They will watch over the next couple of days to see if he gets more or if they go away on their own. The doctor says that the best way to see if it is truly leukemia cells is through the bone marrow biopsy that they will do on day 28 of treatment (that would be around Monday, May 23). If it is leukemia cells they would have to change Jackson's treatment to something more aggressive because it would mean that the treatment they are giving him now is not working. So now we play the waiting game, and see what happens. Please be in prayer with us.
Jackson's shirt today says..."Brave as a Lion"...which is what we are all trying to be.
